Conference Calling Mistake #3: Overlooking Conference Calling Providers' Hidden Fees

It’s always important to look beyond the monthly or per/minute rates that conference calling providers are offering. While there are a number of affordable services out there, some companies tack on hidden fees to your bill or require you to meet minimums each month. This means they might offer $.10 per minute only if you use a certain amount of minutes each month. If you fall short on minimums, you’re required to pay penalty fees to make up for it.

Some companies also offer low rates only for a reduced number of callers. For instance, if you have four callers in on a conference you might enjoy the advertised rates, but as soon as you start adding participants, your overall costs escalate.
